House Rules

Dear guests,

our vacation apartment is supposed to feel like a second home to you. You should feel comfortable and be able to rest. We have put a lot of effort into the furnishing and hope that you will find everything you need.

Before you settle in and make yourself comfortable, we would like to draw your attention to the house rules for our vacation apartment. By our guests understanding and respecting the house rules, we not only guarantee you a pleasant stay, but also make sure that the apartment will be in perfect conditions in the future. By booking our accommodation you agree to our house rules and undertake to comply with them. Please also treat our house with the same respect you would show to your own home. Furthermore, we have listed some rules that we hope you will understand. Please read all rules carefully to avoid hazards or deductions from your deposit at check-out.

Quiet Times

In our vacation accommodation the public rest periods, such as midday and Sunday rest, are to be respected. Out of consideration and in the spirit of a good neighborhood, night rest is also to be kept daily between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in our vacation accommodation or in the entire building. Please go to the outside area/balcony and use an ashtray there. Please dispose of the completely cooled down cigarette remains in the residual waste. If there are any burn marks or holes, please report this immediately to us as the landlord. You, as the tenant, will have to bear the repair costs for any damage caused. Failure to comply with the smoking ban will result in a fine of 250€.

Internet

In our vacation accommodation you have free internet access. You will receive the access code for this upon arrival. The use of this internet access is at your own risk. We as the landlord do not assume any liability for any of your activities on the Internet. There is a prohibition of commercial use, videography, photography & illegal activity.

Pets

Keeping pets is not allowed in our apartment.

Visitors

Your visitors are always welcome in our vacation apartment for short periods of time. However, a maximum of 6 people is allowed to stay in the apartment for safety reasons. If visitors also stay overnight in the vacation accommodation, you must register them with us in advance. Per visitor and overnight stay costs of 60 euros are due then. If the number of guests changes, please inform us in time. In this case, it must also be noted that the apartment offers a total of 3 sleeping places. Visitors must then also abide by these house rules. As part of our rental agreement, we require names and details of each member of your hosting.

Events and Parties

Large events and parties are generally prohibited in our vacation rental. Any gathering of more than one person in our vacation rental must comply with the appropriate terms of these house rules.

Waste Seperation and Disposal

We would like to make our contribution to environmental protection and therefore ask you to separate the garbage in our vacation accommodation as well. For this purpose, appropriate disposal facilities are available for organic waste, paper, plastic, residual waste and glass. Also, new garbage bags are available in the vacation accommodation, which you should use if necessary. Never throw food scraps, garbage or hygiene items down the toilet or other drains. Dispose of your trash only in the bins provided.

Safety

For security reasons, all entrance doors to the vacation accommodation must always be kept closed. In addition, all entrance doors must be locked with the key when leaving the house. Windows should also be closed when leaving the vacation rental. In the interests of fire safety, make sure no escape routes are blocked. Heating, lights and other devices should also always be turned off in so far as they are not being used. This also applies to electrical appliances. Candles are for decorative purposes and should not be lit.

• Ventilation:  To avoid the formation of mold, we ask you to air the rooms sufficiently; at least 1x shock ventilation per day for 5-10 min and especially after showering as well as cooking.
• Outdoor area: Outdoor items, such as umbrellas, must be closed during high winds and overnight to prevent damage and ensure your safety.
• Liability:  We are not liable for valuables belonging to the guest(s).
• Emergency contacts: In case of emergency please contact the police with the number 110 or the fire department with the number 112 or use the following nearby hospital: Hoch

Parking

For your stay with us in the vacation accommodation there is a parking lot on the residential area as well as further public parking lots in front of the house. Please make sure that you do not block other vehicles, neighbors or sidewalks when parking. Please also note that we, as the landlord, are not liable for the vehicle parked in the parking lot and its contents.

Cleaning

You are responsible for cleaning the vacation accommodation during your stay. This is not included in the final cleaning. For the necessary cleaning work, you will find appropriate cleaning equipment in the vacation accommodation. Before departure, some cleaning work is also required. You will find these listed in the section "Arrival and departure".

Damage

Any damage caused in the vacation accommodation must be reported to the landlord as soon as possible. We cannot accept damages that are discovered after your departure. If it is minor damage, such as a broken glass, we as the landlord will pay for the replacement. However, for major damage to the equipment or the vacation accommodation, you as the tenant are liable. To avoid damage, please refrain from moving furniture and avoid other potential sources of danger.

Keys

Upon arrival you will receive 2 keys for the vacation accommodation via the key box. Please never give the keys out of your hand. If you lose the keys, report this to us immediately. The customer must bear all costs incurred. ENVIRONMENT We care about the environment, hopefully you do too. Therefore, please turn off the lights and all technical devices when they are not needed. Saving water also helps nature. Thank you.

Arrival and Departure

To ensure that the vacation accommodation is optimally prepared for our guests, you can check in from 3 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the vacation accommodation must be left by 10:30 am and in a proper condition. This includes:

• Empty the refrigerator and wipe it dry
• clean the dishes, put them back in the dry place and clean out the dishwasher
• Dispose of remaining food -Empty garbage bags in the appropriate containers in front of the house
• If necessary, clean used appliances and equipment
• Put used furniture back in its proper place
• Switch off electrical appliances (except refrigerator)
• Close windows
• Lock the apartment door
• Turn the heating to level 

These house rules are intended to ensure that you can enjoy a pleasant and safe stay in our vacation accommodation. Compliance with the house rules is therefore essential. A violation of these house rules is a violation of the rental conditions, which are stipulated in the rental contract. We ask you to observe this and wish you a relaxing stay and a great time with us!
